Bishop Ricken Calls Diocese of Green Bay to Prayer, Education, & Action Regarding “Equality Act”
Bishop Ricken is encouraging everyone in the Diocese of Green Bay to educate themselves and weigh in on recently proposed congressional legislation entitled “The Equality Act.”
It is a threatening piece of legislation that could negatively impact the common good of citizens and religious liberties in our nation.
In response, Bishop Ricken encourages parishioners to educate themselves about these issues and voice their perspectives to leaders at the national level.
This Monday evening (March 22nd) at 7 PM central time, the US Conference of Catholic Bishops will host a free, national Livestream to help individuals better understand the Equity Act and equip them for how they can respond to the current need for advocacy and action. All parishioners are encouraged to participate in this livestream event.
